If you want service DO NOT BUY any Colorvision Product July 9, 2008 CRL (FL USA) I have both their PrintFix and monitor calibrator. The PrintFix does not work and the 3.5 software upgrade did not help. They have a 800 help line BUT this is for a person to take your name, email address and phone number and lets you know that someone smarter than they will contact you within 24 hours. Remember if you want tech support with a complex product help buy another product! They do not care.
I have had problems getting good results June 29, 2008 Donna J. Warshaw (Florida, usa) The directions are pretty terrible and probably I don't get great results because I'm not doing something correctly. After several attempts I have concluded that I get better results using the manufacturer supplied profiles. However, if you don't have those profiles because of the brand of paper or printer you are using then this is an inexpensive alternative to having profiles professionally created for you.
Great product! February 22, 2008 L. Yunker (St. Paul, MN) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Have had the older version of this and loved it, but my new printer wasnt supported. So I bit the bullet and purchased this and am more then pleased. The only drawback, and it is very minor is the time it takes to scann the color chart. My old unit had a scanner that did it for you. This is a reader that you have to click on every color individually with. With the accurate setting that is a lot of clicks! Sure works well, and very good results so it is worth it, but budget LOTS of time for each paper.
