Great on a system that is on 24-7 downloading videos! January 5, 2009 Roberto Arboleda Zambrano I purchased this kit some 8 months ago, and have been really ABUSING them, since I installed them on my media center PC, a machine that is on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week downloading videos and other files from the Internet; I also use said computer to watch movies on a Sony LCD Bravia TV. For the record, the motherboard I used is an Abit AB9Pro with a Core 2 Quad Q6600 and a Xogis GeForce 8400GS. Perhaps this RAM's reliability depends on the system it is installed on.
awful November 29, 2008 Donald Undis I bought 10 sticks of this to put in 3 systems. All worked fine for a while. 4 months ago the failures began. Now only 1 of the 10 is working. Buy any other brand - you can't do any worse.
Great Reliable Ram November 4, 2008 henryy (Ca USA) I have used this ram for a while already and it seems pretty good. Pretty fast and reliable.
hum... I wish never bought them October 21, 2008 J. Valencia (Doral, florida) everything was all right still two weeks after purchase one of the sticks failed. And since there was no UPC code ( never ever buy individual sellers) there was no possibility of change. the working stick is still there... no that amazing performance... but well...
Great if it was more reliable July 6, 2008 Lantana Al (Lantana, TX USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm a computer programmer and buy a lot of computer hardware. I've probably RMA'd more than 12 sticks of Crucial Ballistix memory (both Tracer and non-Tracer) in the past 2 years. They all seem to eventually fail. They might work well for awhile and last a few months, but eventually they seem to fail and need to be RMA'd. I don't overclock the memory and other brands of RAM don't have this problem. Too bad because the LEDs are nice. I recommend another brand like OCZ, G.SKILL, or Corsair.
