1 out of 5 stars Not for Droid   September 3, 2010

I was excited to try this head set, but it does not work for the Droid!!! Audio works, but nothing else. The volume buttons only start the music player.

2 out of 5 stars Terrible sound   September 2, 2010
D. Montoya
I read the reviews prior to buying this product. Some of them said that the sound quality was terrible and I just figured these were serious music listeners that were just being picky about the sound quality. I was wrong! I only use the headphones when I listen to the ipod at the gym and the sound was terrible! No bass/treble at all! I'm not using these anymore and plan on buying some more Apple earbuds to listen to my ipod. Not worth the $25...

5 out of 5 stars Great sound!   August 31, 2010

After reading all of the reviews I decided on these ear buds and I wasn't disappointed.

5 out of 5 stars Great Product for Skype and General Use   August 30, 2010
David (NC)
I use these headphones with my third generation ipod touch. The music and audio books I generally listen to sound great coming through these headphones (though I am not an audiophile). I have used the mic several times for voice memos and for google voice searches, and it works great. Also, I use these headphones when talking on Skype. I have used them at home and in a busy airport. At both places, I could hear the person I was talking to well and they could hear me well. These headphones have three buttons on the chord - play/pause, volume up, volume down. The buttons have different indentions to help you know by touch which you are using. I really like that you can use the buttons for third party applications on your ipod such as play/pausing pandora (internet radio application). The chord for the headphones itself seems just longer than average. The headphones come with several replacement earbud inserts in case the originals do not fit your ears or you lose one. In my ears, these headphones feel as comfortable as any other like-style headphones. So I am happy with how they feel but do not think they feel uniquely comfortable. The headphones look stylish and like you paid more for them than you did. Though you may not like the shiny area at the back of the actual earphone itself. I really do not mind it, and think it's a small thing when compared to the many benefits that having these headphones bring. So to summarize the positives: they look good, useful three buttons, work well, and are reasonably priced. The only possible negative I noticed - you might not like the shiny area at the back of the earbud itself. So if you are looking for a nicer headphones/mic combo at a reasonable price, then these headphones are probably for you.

4 out of 5 stars Really good for the price   August 24, 2010
R. Aleman (Tallahassee, FL USA)
Overall,
-Sound is good, although bass could be better
-tapline controls are great- they make it as useful as the iphone earphones with mic, except with better sound.
-microphone is good
-sound isolation: it doesn't completely block out sound, but it definitely muffles out a good chunk of it.
--on the flip side, what others can hear is also kept to a minimum. Unlike the standard OEM earphones included with an iPhone/iPod, you can listen to your music without the person next to you hearing every single beat. In fact, unless you are really blaring the music, or it's really quiet, they shouldn't hear anything.
-they are comfortable enough in the ears. It comes with three different attachments, I personally use the medium one. Doesn't leave my ear sore if I leave them in for a while.

-durability: haven't used them long enough to know, I will keep you updated.
