JBuds J3 In-Ear Earphones September 5, 2010 KhangFamily I bought these earphones for my 15 year-old daughter and she uses them with her iPod touch 3rd Gen.
She loves them. Design and color (pink) match is fantastic and the travel case (round pouch) is a big plus. The company must have paid a lot of attention to small details. My daughter told me that it took some time these earphones produce good sound. I guess there needs to be some aging period. Only reason I give 4 stars is they don't look sturdy enough to last long (especially the cord). Overall, these earphones are good value for the price range of $30-40.
Awesome for so cheap a price September 5, 2010 John S. Dean (Sturtevant, WI United States) I figured for under $10 it was worth a gamble, and I am very pleasantly surprised.
Has four different sized ear pieces, but the smaller ones can be a bit tough to get on the ear buds.
One thing I had not come across before was a burn-in period, but it could just be that I've never read any documentation with previous headphones before... This one recommended 24 to 48 hours of playing at 75% or better volume to loosen things up.
I got these because the couple pairs I had gotten for the Zune never stayed in my ears very well, and I didn't like the hard flattened circle ones that came with the ipod. These gave me the perfect choice of size, and they stay in my ears much better.
Sound is great for these - now granted, I've heard better, and have better with my full sized earphones, but I'm rating this based on the cost and convenience, so even though there may be better full sized ones out there, this is right up there with any of the earbud ones I've had.
Case is alright, small enough to let me put these in my laptop case so I've got them handy when I need them.
There is no marking at all on the right side, the left side has a small raised L on the back right where the wire comes into the earbud.
I will be curious after the warming up period is finished, if they sound even better than they did when I first tried them yesterday. Even if they stay the same, I'm more than happy, especially for the price.
Wow September 5, 2010 Rusty Great replacement for iPhone. The sound quality is awesome. True sounds of ur music. First pair sent didn't work out the box on 1 channel called amazon and immediately sent replacement for next day delivery. Great customer service I love my amazon and j3 ear buds
Ok, For some time September 4, 2010 RlG I was expecting great things from this product for i owned the J2's and of course i was right on the spot. Even now they are good but am not sure that they will be able to last as long as the J2's for i use them quite a bit.
Sounds Clear as Mud September 3, 2010 Shark Bait Ive put these through 48 + hours of burn in and multiple listening sessions. They normally you have to burn in in ear headphones to achieve greater bass by breaking in the diaphragms (give them a bit more flex).Needles to say thease do not suffer from missing BASS but rather any sort of clear mids or highs (no EQ settings). It sounds like I have a a little water in my ears they are that muddy. On my iPod I had to turn the Treble Enhancer EQ on for the sound to balance out a bit.
Ive had better $15 $20 $40 $99 and $150 in ear headphones and could not recommend these even if they were $10. You are better off looking elsewhere.
